Recently, I wandered into a homewares shop. As I browsed the shelves, a piece of wall art caught my eye. I felt a quick, inward laugh.
I have no physical homeI have no wall to hang art, no kitchen, no living room, no bathroom of my own. All that I own fits in a single suitcase (downsized even further recently). This has been my life since early this year.
And here I am—I survived. I still eat, breathe, sleep well at night, and wake every morning to swim or exercise. I still put on my red lipstick.
I still enjoy my life.
So, what have I learned?
- Sometimes, the “stuff” we own holds us back.
- Sometimes, we simply need to follow our dreams.
All of the time, we just need to trust.
